Directions when driving from Tiverton.

There are many different ways to reach The Wooden House School, but for a first visit, we recommend a starting point at the Tiverton roundabout on the North Devon Link Road. This is right next to East Devon College.

From this roundabout, drive in the direction of Tiverton for a few yards, as far as the first roundabout. Turn left here and go up the hill, through the new houses, until at the brow of the hill, there is a small left turn signposted to Chevithorne. Turn left here, go over the link road bridge and turn immediately right. This is quite a narrow and winding road, but continue to follow signs to Chevithorne, taking turnings as signed. When Chevithorne is reached, go right through the village until a turning on the left is signposted Chevithorne Barton. This is the main drive up to the house and we would appreciate it if speeds could be kept as low as possible at this point. At the top of the drive, in front of the house, turn left and continue on up the cinder track, keeping left at the junctions until a barnyard is reached. Park here and continue up the track for a few yards. The school will be seen on the rise to the left.
